Hello!
I'm sharing here some brass samples I've made which I personally consider good for melodies, not for chords. The "BrassSax" is my goto one. These are samples that I use for playing one note at a time and having a ready made sound. The idea is to simplify and not to worry about playing the melodies in octaves, in order to have a hand free to do any other instrument line.
They are combination of brass octaves sampled from Alesis QS6.1, Nord Saxophone Vib, and other brass samples.
I tend to use a Roland EV-5 pedal as control pedal for freq cut/volume to apply a custom crescendo anytime.

Thank you. If you can, please post some mp3 to demo the samples.

Re: Brass Sounds - Octaved and Good For Melodies
Sorry for the three years delay, here there are some mp3 samples.
The dim. and cresc. that can be perceived on BrassAlesis and BrassSax are manually done with a Roland EV-5 pedal by assigning Freq LP and Level to the Control Pedal. -And the very beginning of NewBrasswNordTPAT as well.-
(All samples are recorded with analog delay at a fast tempo, eq and drive, compressor and stage 1 reverb)

These sound amazing. This is a great improvement to the otherwise poor brass samples from nord. I was wondering how do you exactly put the control pedal settings? Would care to share a stage program with us ? I can't really get it to sound like yours.
Thanks so much!
Kind regards, Alex

Hi Alex,
Thank you!
The control pedal controls the volume knob + the LP12 Freq simultaneously. This tries to imitate real brass instruments harmonics behavior when playing louder or softer.
Attached is a program for Nord Stage 2.
