[SOLVED] NS3 - Key noise

Hi all,

I have this key noise problem on my brand new NS3 (cf. attached video, problem on "E" key). Any idea ?

Like you, I don't think it should sound that way. But what answer do you want?

To me, opening it up isn't an option, as it's brand new and under warranty. The first thing you may do is sending your video to your dealer or the national Nord distributor and ask what they would offer to do. You may or may not ask for a repair or replacement and sending it in - I'd do. Can you live without it for +/- 3 weeks?

I think I will follow one of your advices : ask to the dealer his suggestion to overcome this problem. (I doubt about an exchange as they are running out of stock these days.)

For the other advice, I admit I feel great temptation to open it and fix it by myself as it seems to be a simple mechanical issue.

I finally opened the NS3.

Attached, what I found.

Part of the key mechanism was twisted, what I heard was the metal-metal contact noise.

I simply fixed it by redressing it with 2 wrenches.
