Are there any Nord user instructors out there that can give some virtual lessons to learn the keyboard. I have the manual and have videos but it would be nice to be able to work with someone to learn quickly.

I think you would need to specify your needs to get in contact. Do you want to learn to play the keyboard? Play organ? Play piano? Get used to set up your Electro?

I read the manual extensively and then found a plethora of tutorials on Youtube. Just search Electro6 tutorial and plan to spend hours soaking it up. Pictures worth thousands....Tony

Great question. I’ve been looking to hire someone to do my set list and create or download the best voices for each song. I can’t find anyone.

1. Identify your needs and requirements: What do you need from your Electro?
a) A few great sounding, simple emulated instruments? (like one B3, one Rhodes, one Grand Piano program)
OR b) Multiple, detailed programs for specific songs and parts? (like custom samples, complete set lists for a 50 song set, ready to go)
OR c) Something else?
2. Take the first step towards mastering the needed skills.
I'd suggest learning Nord Sound Manager. This is not hard. Mark has a great video series on this. This piece of software is an essential tool to make your Electro the instrument you want.
3. Simply open your instrument and mess around. Learn what each of the few knobs and sliders do. Try to avoid being intimidated, or at least don't let it stop you. If a knob or button feels foreign to you, give it a twist and see what happens. Encounter a problem, open the manual, search for a video tutorial.
Or just go crazy on the knobs and twist them until something happens. Approach the instrument like a child. But don't drop coins between the keys. Not a good idea.
