Bass pedals suggestions

Post by jazzrob69 »

Hi

As a relative newcomer to the organ, and having recently acquired a C2, I'd be grateful if bordees could suggest which bass pedals to look at - I'm aware that Nord do their own set and have read somewhere that the Hammond pedals do the same job, albeit a bit cheaper. Any other suggestions and opinions would be gratefully received. Cheers, Rob

I bought a custom set of pedals from a guy called Jeremiah Yokum - he adds midi to real hammond pedals. Cheaper than most I think.
Not sure if he is still building them but I'll PM his email to you.

I put midi in an old A100 pedal set. Not to hard really.
Drill a whole at the end of the pedals - reed glass relays in front . A litte adjusting.
A deopfer bass endocder midicard.
ready set go.
Payed 300 Euro for the board and bench .
75 Euro for the card
2 Euros a pece for magets and reed relay.
Some work
If you want I can post pictures of the solution here

Do you need the full range of two octaves? Otherwise the studiologic MP-117 could be right.

I use the MP117 as well
If you look at this video you can see that it is easy to make extensions for the white keys so you can toe heel.
A very economical solution that works very well.
