Help!
The volume of the organ engines are much higher than the volume of the piano engines-
I need to have both hands on the keys during some songs where I switch between the two engines but cannot due to the need to drop the volume and then feel for an acceptable level to blend with the band - every time I switch between engines.
Is there a way to lock in one volume for all engines?
thank you

Hi fishface (what a nice name)
and welcome to this wonderful forum. You ask whether there’s a way to lock in one volume for all engines. Hm, how would you then play with full dynamics, i. e. loud where needed or soft where wanted? The thing is that the organ has no touch sensitivity, it mimics the behaviour of an original Hammond in that. The more drawbars you‘ve pulled, the louder it gets. The pianos on the other hand give you dynamics in the sense that you have it all in your fingers, the piano engine is touch sensitiv. Do you use a volume pedal? That would give you spontaneous possibilities to adjust the level by ear.
Nevertheless could you go through all your sound programmes to check if the gain level which is saved is the same over all.
Cheers from Germany
