If you have a full backup of your stage 2, then, as written, duplicate that and rename it to a .zip extension, unpack it, and your samples, pianos, and programs will all be there. Samples and pianos can be moved to the Stage 3, and the programs will be viewable with the helpful program viewer app made by a couple of regulars here, so you can go about recreating them.
I’ve found that with one single exception (the Tom Sawyer synth), all my programs were faster/more easily achieved on the 3, and the mostly sound better or benefit sonically from the extra capabilities of the new synth.
Upgrading from NS2 to NS3: will my programs/sounds import?

Wow, power tip! I will have to see if I can unzip my backup and see what’s inside!Schorsch wrote:Hi,
there is a way to identify which pianos are in the backup file - these files are in fact .zip files if I’m correct.
