I was so happy with my Nord Stage ex 88. I got it only 2 months ago and this instrument has been a breath of fresh air for me.
Until last week. For some reason the switches to select "amp simulator type" and also the button for selecting "reverb type" don't work properly anymore. They go all crazy either switching on their own or not working at all. This is a very disappointing problem for a keyboard that is supposedly builtd like a tank. In additoion, this keyboard has only been out of my house two times, for band practice.
Has anyone else exprerienced such a problem with any of the switches?

Re: My NS broke after only 2 months
I'm sorry to hear that.
I have had my NS compact for 3 years, and have never had any problems with it. But before that I did have a Nord Electro 2 for about 1 year, and suddenly one of the knobs kinda switched on it's own, without me turning it. And it was not loose or anything. Not exactly the same problem though.
You should probably send it back and get a new one if you can.
Good luck.

Re: My NS broke after only 2 months
Just bring it back for an exchange and don't worry about it. I've buyed my Nord Stage in 2005 (serial number 126). I play about 50 Gigs a year and I never had a problem with the nord. So I think it's more a single faulty keyboard - no general problem.

Update. They didn't exchange the keyboard, but they did replace one of the pcb's (under warranty). Working perfectly so far...
