Why do some sellers not double box?

Most keyboards I have received were double boxed, but none of the Nords have been. I've ordered Arturia and Moog stuff for example and it came double boxed. Some lighter synths were bought used and those were generally not double boxed but wrapped so carefully that there was almost no way anything could have happened. Some others shipped in road cases or thicker bags within a box. I think it depends a lot on the shop in question and maybe also the brand. But the last Nord I received was just shipped in the factory box and the mod wheel was broken. I just sent it back. At least there was not any damage to the outside.
