Hi Jim,

as some of the others said it seems most likely that the output routing has been changed. You‘ll find the settings on page 16 in the manual downloadable here:
https://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads ... -electro-5

The reason might be to have the organ going out isolated to let it pass effects such as the neo ventilator without disturbing other sounds.

If you plug in a headphone you may hear organ at one side and other sounds at the other.

Good luck. And I would not hesitate helping out another band. Cheers

Great example of the ridiculousness of English. It's perfectly reasonable to expect the adverbial form of hard to be hardly, but it ain't! Hardly means something quite different, sounds like you've got it made Hlaalu.

Let's see if I guess right... what I wrote actually means "barely earned salary", whereas what I wanted to say is "earned with great effort". Right? Otherwise I need to go back review some of my English...

By the way English has still way less oddities and ridiculousness than other languages, including Italian, and it's way more efficient... I guess that's why it became THE lingua franca.

Right. And as we were supposed to help the OP in time for the next gig, which was today, and the OP hasn't been back since registration day to see if anyone answered, I think we can safely assume that the OP learned to love piano sounds in place of organs (or read the manual), and we can righteously hijack this thread to talk about the finer (and unfiner) points of English.

Exactly right! The common way to express what you intended to say would have been "hard-earned salary."

Thanks! Fixed. Learned something...

Even though, considering how much (or little) they are paying me, I guess it's also right to say I "barely earn" a salary

Your original wording, "hardly earned salary", is kind of ambiguous. You could restate it like this I suppose, but my original inclination was to read that you get a decent salary, but you didn't work very hard to get it. (Therefore my comment that you've got it made).

Ah, interesting chain of misunderstandings... No, I meant that one works his ass off (this English is more straightforward I bet!) for months to be barely able to put together the money he needs to buy what he wishes to buy, in our case expensive keyboards, and therefore that I don't see as "selfish" and I in fact totally understand the act of not wanting to then play Russian roulette over something that cost that much sacrifice by putting it in the hands of other people.

So I guess one more variable needs to be added to the equation: it depends on the gear, the person, and one's wallet capacity!

Well you can also have a "high capacity" wallet, but if it is always empty (or almost)...
