My computer does not recognise my nordrack through usb.
i have Scarlet 18I8 connected to computer through usb and connected to nordrack through midi out but computer does not recognise nordrack . im probably missing some step?

Nord Rack 2 cannot be "recognized" if connected via MIDI to the Scarlett (the OS recognizes only the MIDI interface of the Scarlett, not what you connect to its MIDI IN/oUT) + in any case NR2 won't work with Sample Editor because it does not support samples.

Yes, correct or use it as any other MIDI expander i.e. sending notes from a DAW like Logic, etc...
