Re: Nord keybed fatal flaw?
You developed the problem with the E6 suspiciously after 14 months of storage. I'd bet there was some condensation, despite being stored in the Nord soft case. A good bet would be the soft case does not keep all the moisture out. Are you in a humid area? I've had my E5 for 2 years no issues and sitting on a stand not in a case, but I don't gig with it. Local humidity is VERY high, around 80% typically (coastal California)

Re: Nord keybed fatal flaw?
Thanks Jay. Low humidity here in inland Oregon. Stored in dry interior closet. Let's not forget the problematic E4 I had before the E6. Dry interior non-coastal Northern California for that one.JayDee wrote:You developed the problem with the E6 suspiciously after 14 months of storage. Love the Nords but again, why no problems with my Yamaha (gigged hard), Sequential, and other keybeds, many used much longer than my Nords.
Thanks again everyone for comments/suggestions.
