NS3 Screen flashing Edit symbol, Drawbar settings at random

How come this issue has started showing up now? No firmware release since March 2020... what's going on? Btw I have never had this issue on my NS3 88.

I think, it's indeed likely it has something to do with the drawbars. We will see.

Even if that's the case it's odd that's showing up now, after a year since the last firmware release. There must be quite a fair number of people with the S3 Compact running 2.54...

This started to happen to me. I have a Nord Stage 3 Compact. I have isolated it to the following...This happens exclusively on patches that are SPLIT sound, and depressing the keys hard (which can be a "morph" function" causes the E to go on. When playing lights, the "E" does not go on. This does not happen on a regular patch. But it ALWAYS happens on a split patch. Any further thoughts?

Probably not due do the fact that it is a Split patch but more likely to a Morph assigned to the Aftertouch (check that), so that when you press the key harder you trigger the AT and cause the morphed params to change, hence the "E"

I think I remember on the NS2 I used to see the * (equivalent to E) shown when using the morph, even if the changing parameter(s) would not show on the display, but I may be wrong and unfortunately I no longer have my NS2 to check (so I mentioned it as a possibility and suggested our friend to check that on his NS3 directly)

I have this effect now, too: Drawbar settings flashing up while playing every now and then. Playing around with the single drawbars didn't help. Compact model here, too. Haven't been playing much in the one year I've got the instrument: Some dozen hours, with drawbars only recently playing in live mode.

I am having this issue too on a full size ns3. Kinda scary. In addition to the "E" flashing the top right of the main display fasheds Mod attack .o5 ms and then FX 2 amount.

Ive turned and tweaked all the knobs. This instrument has never left the studio so it certainly is not rough handling....

Software glitch?

I don't have it any more. Didn't find out where it had come from. I've changed to OS 2.62 meanwhile and don't use Live drawbars any more where it had appeared.
