Nord Wave 2 Sample and filter

Hi I have a question for the north wave 2, why don't the filters work in the sample mode?

Samples start with filter ON or OFF, it depends on which sample you have loaded. If you want filter ON and the sample have defalt to filter OFF then you just activate the filter.
Same goes for AMP VEL.

SKIP ATK is used in situations where you like the sound of a sample but like to skip the initial attack of the sample.

Turns out AMP VEL settings are different from sample to sample.

In general samples can default to various AMP VEL settings depending on which sample you are using.
Its up to you to alter that, same goes for the filter.

It appears NW2 got 4 modes for playing back samples:

Mode 0 BASIC, with AMP VEL ON and Filter OFF
Mode 1 SKIP ATK, with AMP VEL ON and Filter OFF.
Mode 2 RAW SMP, AMP VEL OFF and Filter ON
Mode 3 SKIP ATK, AMP VEL OFF and Filter ON

wait...does this mean that on the Wave 2, when using a sample it's impossible to have velocity AND filter active at the same time?

No, Not at all. None of the buttons described above need to be turned on. You can just turn on the filter and then adjust the Amp velocity to taste-
