Nord Stage 4 Wishlist

My wish for the Stage 4 list is that Clavia will fix/improve some things on the Stage 3 first

I agree. It feels like NS3 is due for a nice OS update and hope we'll see that in 2021, along with maybe a NS3 EX? I know there's speculation about the hardware being outdated to the point where future generations of NS4+ will need completely new innards and code etc. Perhaps that is what Nord has in progress?

Haha in a way, I totally agree with you, if MIDI per instrument maybe finds its way back into the Nord Stage 3, and my new music projects "take off", I'd instantly get whatever is the latest Stage, even if it's the 3 or 3 EX

Wasn't that refuted some weeks ago? There had been speculation here by some that an old DSP was in use by Nord, and would no longer be available, but a kind soul clarified that the hardware used in the NS3 generation and newer (at least) are using a modern and available set of chips?

Indeed. NS3 remains relatively new, but with many things to solve yet. Or improvements (list of basic things not implemented is not short)

Hello everyone ... there has been a lot of discussion about the keyboard. I liked the keyboard from the first NS 76 and NS 76 EX best. When I bought NS-3 76 I was not happy, but I always thought that I would get used to it, but it wasn't. After 1 year I asked my serviceman whether it was possible to mount the keyboard from the first NS 76 into the NS-3 76. It worked and since then I've been totally happy with my NS-3 76, even if there are other things that I would like to have (split point, dual KB etc.).

Tbh, I think this would be a perfect topic for a new thread, if you would post pictures etc.!
I’m sure there are some guys here who would seriously consider doing the same, and others would be very curious how the heck you did that (If you had difficulties, etc.)

This thread, or this Google Docs sheet I should say, could minimize the amount of new threads regarding these topics and, pretending they would like to do so, allow Clavia to easier read our wishes and implement features in the future!

The wish list includes sheets for all Nord keyboards in one list, and will be expanded with categories for example
