Nord Grand and Midi Devices
Nord Grand and Midi Devices
Does anyone know if the Nord Grand can accept midi cc information from an external midi device via the midi input or the USB port? I’d like to set up an Expressive Touché or a faders device to adjust expression, modulation, etc. while playing string instruments. Alternatively, has anyone accomplished this or something similar using an external midi device connected to a computer and a DAW in conjunction with the Nord Grand?

Hi,
the NG manual explains that it can receive all MIDI CCs it can send (see in Chapter 8 "MIDI" and for the parameter to enable send/receive see also Chapter 10 "Menu" , MIDI menu). For the full list of MIDI Control Change messages, refer to the Appendix "MIDI CONTROLLERS LIST" (at page 25)
