Hey guys ,
Please help me Out!
Well I'm a beginner in the field of music and do not have much knowledge about music production but I'm really hoping you guys can help me with this following problem:
I have a Nord Drum Pad 3p and a Roland Um One Mk2 Usb Midi interface. I want to know how can I receive sounds played from the drum pad onto my MacBook .
(Garageband). I would like to have the drum sounds played on the drum pad recorded on my MacBook.
If someone could please brief me up with the steps that need to be followed. It will be really appreciated and really make my day .
Cheers

Re: Nord Drum 3p Midi Connections
Hi Jack, welcome to the forum!
If you want to record the audio from your 3p, you'll need an audio interface, not a MIDI interface. MIDI is only for note information, so only which note (padj you play can be recorded with the MIDI interface.
I can't help you with Garageband, I find it quite a confusing app on the iPad, but that's probably just me..
Cheers,
Albert
