Hello! First Nord user forum post here...
I bought a used C1 in 2012 or 2013 that has operated flawlessly until within the last year it began spontaneously powering down on me while onstage at church. I will notice the drawbar LEDs going dark and the display quickly flashing "h.10" and then "h.03" (I think, it happens so quickly) before going totally dark. I can switch the power switch off and then on again and I am back in business.
What is causing this? Has anyone experienced something similar?
Thank you!

Re: Nord C1 spontaneously powering down
Hi and welcome to NUF!
Sounds like some failure in the power supply unit, if you (or a friend of yours) are experienced with electronics repairs you can check if any capacitor of the PS board is "swollen" (gone bad) and replace it, otherwise take it to a professional service.

Re: Nord C1 spontaneously powering down
Thanks for your help! Definitely leaning on taking it to someone soon to take a look under the hood. I read of a similar issue someone had with a Nord Stage, where one comment was that the Nord has an internal mechanism to restart if it gets tripped by bad power in order to prevent damage. I've had my C1 sitting next to me powered up at home this week and so far it has been running stable. Wonder if there is an issue with our power strip at the church, etc.

That's also likely a possibility, maybe you should try to use some surge protector device (plug) when at the church.Treeman wrote: I've had my C1 sitting next to me powered up at home this week and so far it has been running stable.
