When I connect a midi cable from the Nord piano 2 HA88 it originally worked fine connected to a macbook pro. But then it stopped sending a signal and the following message came up.
Instrument Nord Piano 2 Midi input sends to a MIDI port named Midi input of Midi interface " nord piano 2" which no longer exists. Check if all MIDI interfaces are connected and switched on; otherwise adjust the instrument's midi out port settings.
Can anyone help please ?

Re: Midi connection from Nord piano 2 not successful
I'm not experienced in using Mac gear. Do you have to use a MIDI interface or do you go directly into the Mac? No idea.
The message you are talking about is a message on your Mac, right? And it says: Nord Piano 2 is sending to Nord Piano 2 which doesn't exist? Funny thing, this.

Thank for the reply. The midi cable is ok and goes directly in the Mac. The message used to come up on the Mac but doesn't any longer.
