You save the flash ram space to load some other nsmp files. And you have waveforms that you did not have before. Both good things I would have thought...
No, since you van not use the the super waves and nsmp at the same time on the same panel.

I am not tallking about simultaneous sounds, but the loaded sound files in the storage ram. NS3 owners have all that space available to load other nsmp files. NS2 owners do not. That is about 32MB according to the files you produced.

I agree with @NordPH that S-Waves were more like a selling trick than a real huge improvement. I have Virus TI2 so I have kind of reference to what I was wishing for. Density (how many waves are put together) and detuning make them flexible and powerful. Of course these features mean that those waves are modeled/calculated real time. That’s was what I was expecting when I first read NS3 synth specs.

Yes. They are nsmp samples and will load just fine into your NE5. You may need to delete other samples to make room in the memory.

I just recently discovered this post. Super Strings and Super Saw are my favorites.

Thanks.

Those could make a good combination with the real oscillators of my Nord wave for even fatter sounds. They will certainly find some use for me. Thanks a lot for your contribution!
