Nord cover for the NP4 ?

Post by Projet Xion »

Hi, everyone,

I would like to know if a cover keyboard is provided with the Nord Piano 4 ?
I know it's the case for the Stage 3 (seen on unboxing videos on Youtube) but I'd like to know if I have to buy one or not to protect the keyboard of my future NP4.

No, it are not included anymore, not in NP4, and either in Stage 3

If I had to buy today, I'd rather order something like this :

The original Nord fits, but the quality do not match the price, at least if it are of the same standard as the one mine NS was shipped with.

Edit: Seems like the additional dust cover are a better quality.

the NP4 cost almost 2500€, you would expect the dust cover to be in the box.
Same thing for the USB cord wich not seems to be inclued too, it's abused.

On the one hand side, you're right. But on the other, I think it might be user friendly that you don't get (and pay for) what you don't need. People usually have USB cords, and pro keyboard players might put their gear into a hard case instead of setting it up in the living room. My point would be that you should be able to get your instrument bundled with what you need for a reasonable sum, so I'd ask my dealer which price he can make for all together. I did it that way and in the end I had one of the three supplementary controllers for my Stage (control pedal) for free.

Covers are quite different - from stiffer types to stretch fabric - as you may want it. Different colours, too.
