Hi Cookie, I discovered a problem after one of your recent changes when opening the webpage on my iPad with both Google Chrome and Safari. Log in works, accessing the pages “All Sounds” and “Add New” is fine as well but when selecting “Files” the page appears for a second or so and the changes to a blank screen. Any idea why this happens?

Strange, almost like the data was cached previously, it then refreshes in background (takes 1 second) and then the new data was empty.
One thing to try, clear your cached data completely on iPad and try again, might fix it.. It might just be bad timing also, I may have been deploying the app at the time you checked.
If you flick from 'All Sounds' to 'Files' a few times, it will always trigger a refresh of data, so try that also..

When you say blank screen, ..... can you give more info ? - do you still see the table with empty data, with the white text message at the top saying "TODO - Will add some functionality to ....." ??

Maybe take a screenshot and show me :)

Hi,

I cleared the browser cache and tried again, still the same result. Blank screen means there is absolutely nothing on it, just a plain white area. So also no menu items like All Sounds or anything else fro your webpage.Refresh of the page does not help, and if I go back to the page (I.e. All Sounds) where I jumped into All Files with the browser’s back function I then have to refresh this previous page again before the content becomes visible. Then going to All Files again provides the same result - plain white screen ....

A screenshot of a white are with nothing on it would not help I suppose .... :sad:

Actually, it would help cos I could see the URL that throws a white screen, just to double check..
I might need to grab an iPad for this one. :o

Same thing happens on the iPhone, just in case you would have easier access to this rather than getting an iPad

Hi,
You only get one account per email, you shouldnt try to create more than one - it will fail if the email is already in the system each time you sign up with the same email.
If you get that message on login it means the email and password is incorrect.

Did you check your spam folder for the confirmation email? - and click the confirmation link.
Can you try loggin in with the 1st password you used to register.
Can you try a password reset? (check your spam folder carefully)

Thanks for reply. I cant remember anymore if i already have an account ... but when i try to reset my password, website is saying that i have to go check my mails but i dont receive any ... of course i did also checked spam folder. Sending pm with my mail adress

I have this too in Safari (Mac OS Mojave). You can't see it in this screenshot, but the URL is https://nordusersamples.azurewebsites.net/files.

This is weird, I wasnt able to repeat the issue on my iphone!

Please bear with me to solve this problem, It's becomes very difficult when I cannot reproduce the problem. I think this is to do with stale data in your browser storage, (not just cached pages, but a feature called local storage) so we need to be able to flush the data somehow.. And I probably need to make a change to the code to prevent this happening.

Can you open a new 'private browsing' safari session and try again?
