sorry about this but there are some problems with the site, initially when I first popped on after you launched, it seemed reasonably accessible with a screen reader like voiceover, unfortunately it isn't now. I'm finding it difficult navigating and downloading files, downloading files means a layer window that Voiceover panics over on the mac ans safari hangs.
Any chance you could look in to an easier way of downloading and viewing data, etc please?
HI Lew
I'm Sorry to hear this - I havent really thought about accessibility to be honest. So you are using a screen reader that is struggling with the 'view sound' opening in a pop out view?
i think it was originally done differently so thats why it is a problem now and not before.
I work on another site where its 100% accessible, with pop out (modals) windows, but it does involve quite a bit of work with no guarantee it would fix your issue..
maybe its better i lose the pop out window, and revert to the original. where you can expand the row and view the details.
Same issue would occur when you use the 'edit sound' pop out view, I suspect.
I'll see what I can do to rectify things, with minimal effort!

am I the only one who hasn't got an 'activation code' on his 'profile' user control panel? I just found out some hours ago when I had read the Sign-Up how-to on https://nordusersamples.azurewebsites.net/. The space on the right to 'NordSamples.com Account Activation Code:' is just empty - even not an empty field.

Thank you, I really appreciate your time and help here. Don't worry, there's ways and means.
Keep up the amazing work. I hope to provide some work for your site within the year.

What's the issue?
The codes are required for users that had contributed to the collection prior to December.
Newer accounts won’t need the code... I have PM’d you.
These users thanked the author spookycookie for the post:
the point why I left a note in this thread was: There is a description for new users how to sign up for the samples' collection: on https://nordusersamples.azurewebsites.net/ in the "How To Use This Search Tool" section - and the activation code is mentioned. Same point for the Sign Up form itself (there, it's already mentioned as optional). Maybe you could rewrite those points so that new members don't try around for half an hour or so.
Thanks a lot for your work, and thanks for your immediate answer!

Focusing on the mp3 for the sounds, I see some discrepencies in some mp3 references.
ID #20736, Mini and Wurly plays "I wonder why", eventhough there is an mp3 for this sound in the original post : http://www.norduserforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=11072
Wanted to edit and relink to the correct one but the only option is to reload an mp3.
Would it be possible to propose another option in the mp3 edit funtion to relink mp3 to, in this particular case : download/file.php?id=7440 ?
Hi Fred... It might be quicker for me to fix these errors manually, for the time being.
I was thinking of adding a function to the Files table (admins can see) , that allows you to assign an existing MP3 to an existing Sound ID. I would need to insert some data into that table first.
LewTheKeysGuy - I have redesigned the Sound Viewer and Editor due to the accessibility issues you raised. Hopefully this will resolve the issue, no popups..
Hopefully everybody will like the changes.. I still might tidy it up a bit.
