C1 keyboard feel

I recently pulled my C1 out and set it up after not using it for a couple of years. The keyboard feels so much different from the E2 I'm used to playing. The action is much more mechanically noisy, the keys seem to bottom out differently/feel different, and playing the usual "smears" feel awkward. Has something degraded in the C1- foam rubber- or has it always been that way?

Hey Pablo. I know you are probably getting ready for NAMM, but do you have any insight into this? Jim @ Tascam
