Electros have OLED too and nothing prevents Nord from using them on other product lines, even if they didn't so far, so: is it really so "obvious"?
Anyway we'll see what it is in a few days

Hi, don't think so: there are no different engines separated optically like on a Stage, an Electro etc. Should be something with only one sound engine.

Why wait, It is highly doubted that the new instrument would be a new version of the Stage 3 and as such is more considered to be a synth to replace the lead series current builds.
You know this for a fact or are you speculating?
I’m not gonna rush the purchase of something for the sake of 2weeks waiting.

If you don't need it right now, it is wise to wait, just in case (even if unlikely)

Going by past timelines, it’s about time for a Stage 3 EX this year or next. But that shouldn’t be a substantial redesign — just very minor colour changes and upgraded storage specs.
This teased product is a completely different design. I doubt it’s part of the Stage product line.
On the other hand, just because they’ve done things one way for fifteen years doesn’t mean it can’t change.
Hans Nordelius on the Nord Lead A1, taken from the review in SOS:
”I also understand why you want a screen. We omitted it on the A1 to keep it affordable, but we have now sourced the OLED screen that we use in the Electro 5 and, the next time we design a synth, we might include this. Of course, that would be at a different price point.”

They’re saying “price point 2999£” ... Pretty sure that guy doesn’t know about the already released Nord Grand...
A true “Stage” model with Kawai action can’t be anywhere near that price point...
After seeing what Korg have released pre namm (Wavestate)I have a feeling that Nords Teaser might be a Wavetable based Nord Lead, theres been quite a trend in the last year or so with Wavetable based synths, and the last few Synth offerings from Nord contained Static Wavetables wouldn't be surprised if Nord Follow Suit with a more hands on Wavetable based Synthesis machine.
