Dance Monkey - Tones and I

Hi,

does someone has an idea how to get the significant "piano" which appears the whole song of Dance Monkey? Could not create something which sounds near to it even with filtering a piano.
Or does anyone of you have already created a program for it?

Hi and welcome on the Nord User Forum!

My first try for this song. I couldn't make the normal piano short enough for the staccato sound, So I've took a piano sample which I could adjust using A/D/R.
Not completely satisfied because I can't get the pianosound close enough to the original, but I think it's a good start.

Sounds used:

Here's my version of Dance Monkey

Right Split - intro staccato piano-like synth-bass
Left Split - Grand Piano (I think the Imperial sounds best)

Left - Synth Bass (Mod Wheel replaces the Synth Bass with the low range of the Grand Piano)
Mid - Grand Piano
Right - Synth Piano

A Grand Piano has to be selected in the Piano Section

As mentioned in his post:"Replace Slot A Piano with Grand".

But indeed. Next to that I get a distorted sound at the moment.
Can you explain exactly what you have to enable on which slot? Maybe some explanation about the patch.

edit: I've figured out the splits/settings and modifed the patch. I'll post the program/patch later (I'm not at my board atm).

I uploaded a new bundle (3 Splits) - attachment on the top

Split Zones:
Left - Synth Bass (Mod Wheel replaces the Synth Bass with the low range of the Grand Piano)
Mid - Grand Piano
Right - Synth Piano
