A quick perusal makes me think that they'll be useful. Thanks, Clavia!
I think I have gear issues ....

Hi Ivan, can you recommend other brass samples for the Stage 2 and Stage 3 which sound more rich and alive than the ones released today?

Possibly im spoiled with Motif Brass Libraries (Swells, SfZ, Falls etc).
I was thinking even to convert Kontakt to Wavs then to NS3.

I have not tried to load any of them into my Nord yet, but remember that the samples you hear at the site are the raw unprocessed samples. A lot can be done at the keyboard.

Until/unless Nord changes the basic architecture, all their brass sound are limited to a single velocity layer. Tha is, they cannot trigger a different sample at low velocity compared to the sample they trigger at high velocity. So velocity-based changes are limited to things like volume and brightness. That's why you can't get the kind of brass you can get out of a Yamaha, Kontakt, etc. Not even by sampling those sources, since you could only sample one velocity.

Yep, i am fully aware of this. And those (new clavia)brasses just did not tick the box for me, thats it.

(If Clavia makes multi velocity synth engine they have to expand memory as well, cause 1 good sample can take about 100 mb in size, what leads to internal memory expansion to good 5 -10 gigabites). Which is economicaly not beneficial or realistic .

Well, technically you can implement TWO velocities using AFTERTOUCH to trigger Panel two samples with a different velocity. LOL

Aftertouch cannot send velocity (because the note has already been struck before aftertouch ever happens). You could morph to a different sound after the attack, but you could not trigger a different sample based on velocity.
