Need help with wah-wah control

Hi all. I need some guidance. I'm not getting enough (or any?) wah-wah control out of my pedal when I use the clavinet sound on my Electro 5. I've got a Yamaha expression pedal plugged into the control pedal port. All it seems to do is control the volume and not give me wah expression. I'm obviously doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks.

If it controls volume You need to disengage the "Control pedal" on the Part Upper/Lower in the middle section. Shift+Octave up.

To have it control the Wha You need to press Shift+The effect type selector so the CTRL PED is lit.¨
(And make sure the effect is on the correct Part - same as the Clavinet. I've spent far too much time troubleshooting when I simply had the effect on the wrong Part...)
