When using the knob in the 'synth' section to scroll through sounds in the 'samp' menu, the knob functions extremely erratically. It is impossible to scroll through sounds quickly. A large turn of the knob advances one or two patches at a time...or not at all. Multiple knob turns can result in minimal scrolling...the response to the knob is MINIMALLY responsive, if at all.
I have noticed a similar, but less significant issue when scrolling through the alphabet while naming a patch. Knob turns here are slghtly unresponsive, but not on the scale as described above.
The main issue as described above, seems to have gotten progressively worse. It is now virutally impossible to create new patches using sounds from the samp library.

I am afraid you need to have that synth knob encoder replaced (and maybe also the main one)
