Hi Everyone,
I have a nord electro 3 and would like to play a normal piano sound with strings in the background. I can't find this option. Does anyone know how that works?
I can only find Strings when I choose the Type: SAMP LIB in the Piano Section. But then I don't have a piano sound anymore.

You can't split or layer on the Electro 3 unfortunately. I think that came with the Electro 5.
The only way is to find a sample that has both piano and strings...

Yes, split/layer functionality happened with the 5

To avoid any potential confusion: there is one limited split capability on the Electro 3: there is an organ/organ split function, which allows you to have different organ settings on the opposite sides of a a split point. But is only an organ/organ split, and this does not help you.
