I have had this problem for years, but have not had the extra money to have my N2rack looked at. Until recently I could turn the unit on/off to solve the problem...but it is unusable now.
When I send MIDI info to the unit it freezes. The note sticks, buttons don't respond, etc., then I have to turn it off.
Is this most likely a software or hardware problem? I think there is a newer OS out there somewhere, but I don't know where to get it. Is there a way to erase all of my presets, or reset to factory settings?

Welcome to the forums.
The NL2 OS is on EEPROM chip and only available from Nord.
