USB Hell!!! NE4

I can't get any laptop or PC to recognize the Nord as a device. I've downloaded manager, drivers, everything...XP and windows 10, nothing---NOTHING. It recognizes other devices such as phones, hard drives. I suppose I must have done something horrible in a previous life.

Have you set the MIDI connection to USB instead to the DIN ports?
Page 18 of the Nord Electro 4 manual.

Midi Menu > 2 - MIDI Interface

Use this setting to chose if you want to use the MIDI interface on the DIN connectors or the USB-MIDI functionality
Range: P - DIN MIDI ports, U USB-MIDI (default)

I did this re setting midi to U, page 18---3 different computers, 2 different cables, drivers installed, no recognition whatsoever

So, yes, you have done something horrible in THIS CURRENT life...

Well, I don't see anything but I understand the frustration, I spent an entire day yesterday looking for a buzz on my oedalboard....It was just the cable of a LED light powered with a white plug ala iPhone that I had wrapped up nicely and who was acting like a magnet/antenna and was causing the buzz at the passive radial "dragster" device...
