Empty corner in my room
Hi all,
Today I brought my Stage to the service-center to repair the clicks in the keyboard.
I hesitated to do the repair myself (there are people who already did this and say it's just a hour of work) but I think it is wise to keep the warranty.
So now I look to a empty corner of my room and I must say; It's a sad view...

I'm sorry to hear of this, but at least it WILL be coming back at some point soon.
Cheers, Hanon

Hi Hanon,
Yeah I am looking forward to it back I must say.
The only advantage; there is more extra time left for social live!
Cheers, Ruud

Re: Empty corner in my room
Hi,
I already got my Nord back tomorrow and they won't repair the click noise. (I guess it's waiting for someone who makes a decent photoshoot when opening the Nord and moving the springs) So now I have to live with it.
This is what they say:
The "HA-keys" (that are found on the Stage 2 88, 76 and Piano) have for example a tiny metal spring at the back of the key which may rub against the key when you play. This can cause a bit of noise while palying this instrument, but has to be considered normal and is not serviceable..There is also the rubber on the keycontacts that can "pop" a bit when the key is released.

Re: Empty corner in my room
I had this happen as well, and so far I've just tried to live with it. It's a very minor issue, really, and doesn't affect the playability. I did let Nord and the dealer know about it, and the dealer offered to pay to ship it back for service. But I'm more concerned about extra damage during shipping than I am about the click. And it's such an amazing board in all other respects that I'd hate to be without it for so long.RuudVincent wrote:...This can cause a bit of noise while palying this instrument, but has to be considered normal and is not serviceable...

Hi TheWeed42
I agree. I'll pick it up today. Still I am curious how to open the Nord without dammage and can take a look how it all works with the springs. But yeah I miss playing it now already!
