Hello NS 3 owners// Nord technichians.
Is there a way to change Nord2 stageprograms in Nordstage 3 programs?
just the way we can do now with help of Nord Sample converter 1.12 for samples

Re: NS2 program to NS3 program
Hi Piet,
I'm afraid there is not.
It has been discussed many times on these forums, but the short version is that the machines are sufficiently different that transferring sounds makes little sense.
Long version:
Having translated a bunch of programs from the Stage 2 to the Stage 3, I can say that even with "identical" settings, they sound markedly different and require enough adjustment that you might as well have just transferred them by hand. The piano filters are simple and very useful and often free up the EQ for assigning to other engines. And the synth section is so different that there is often a much more effective and simpler way to get better-sounding results than on the old machine.
Another plus, of course, is that you get to know your machine much better by programming it.
Of course, that's fairly easy for me to say, since I only had a few dozen sounds to rebuild. I deeply sympathise with those who have hundreds.

But of course I had saved the on my computer
so....... a lot of searching to do!

Re: NS2 program to NS3 program
Thought my NS3 playing converted NS2 files sounded very different. Thanks for reassuring me that I wasn't missing some thing! Only had Ns3 for two weeks.
