Hi all,
I'm new here, as I just bought myself an electro 5. I noticed that the Nord Sample Library 2.0 was uploaded recently, and it's supposed to be compatable with my model, but when I download a sound and try to add it to the Nord sound manager, I get an error message ("add error (15)").
If I try to add it again, I get another error message, but the sample is now on my keyboard and in the sound manager. However, when I select the sound, no sound comes out of the piano.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone have any solutions?
Thanks!!
Cam

Re: Nord Sample Library and the Electro 5
Which version of the operating system and of the Nord Sound Manager do you have?
Only the latest versions are compatible with the 2.0 samples, try updating both the OS and NSM, and see if that was the issue.
Hope this helps!

As Spider said:
- Update your NE5 to the latest firmware (OS)
- Update your Nord Sound Manager to the latest version
It is very wise to keep all your software up-to-date concerning fixes and new features!
With regards,
Bart

I made sure I have the latest version of NSM, but I'm not entirely sure how to update the operating system on my E5?

Re: Nord Sample Library and the Electro 5
Have a look here:
http://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads/ ... -electro-5
but first find out which version you have. At least in the NS2 it is displayed at boot time. Compare that number to the latest version (currently 1.24).
