Hi,

I just tried to install the new version of the Nord Sound Manager and got that error:

Maybe some attackers made use of the Shellshock bug and replaced the Nord Sound Manager by a virus. This really makes sense since the modification date of the manager is 2014-09-25 instead of 2014-09-03 which is the official release date of the current version. By the way: The Shellshock bug was found at 2014-09-24.

What do you think?

I think that it looks normal, it happens on OS X whenever you install something you download and not from the App Store.

PS:Actually I can't remember if it showed when I installed the previous version, why don't you try that as a double check?

Nord88, I think you should ask this question to nord directly. I'm a software professional myself, and I would want to know immediately if my users had this problem.

That's a new one on me, but I'll bring it to the attention of Clavia. Of course, they likely won't be seeing my note before Monday morning, so you have the rest of the weekend to play with it...

Where's MJBrands when you need him? Did anyone here hear anything about how the World Cup went in Brasil? The robot one, I mean...?

Don't you have any version of Sound Manager at all?

I can upload a version to Drop Box for you (let me know which version you need) if you need it urgently.

I am unable to reproduce this error, and despite several downloads of the Sound Manager every day, noone else have reported this.

What exact hardware, operating system (and version) and browser version are you using? Have you tried an alternative browser?
