How to program this Sound: Trance Lead ?

Post by TheCapMan »

Hi guys,

Has anyone a clue how to program a patch like the first one in this video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KB7t5v5jJc

I know it was programmed on a Nord lead 3 but it sounds pretty doable on the Nord Stage Classic/EX.
thank you

Hi Capman,
I gave it a try but did not get as close as you did, very nice patch!! Thanks!
Hard to get close, but durin gmy fiddling I found the 2 band EQ of the Synth to be quite effective in shaping the sound to fatten it a bit more.
Anyway, great patch indeed!

Here's my take on it:
Trancelead01.nspg

The filter sweep is done using the expression pedal. It's not exactly the same rhythm pattern btw, didn't have enough time for that.

What do you think?

Hi folks, nice to hear you like my "trancelead.nspg" that I made for my old NS classic in 2011. Now I finally tried to replicate this old NS classic patch for the NS2, but I didn't really succeed :-) Here's the closest I've been so far:
TranceleadNS2.ns2p
TranceleadNS2.ns2p
(547 Bytes) Downloaded 828 times
This is played live, the filter sweep is done using the Expression pedal. I didn't use any samples, only two layers of sawtooth synth. Feel free to tweak to your taste!

Best regards, Alex
