Ray Parker Jr. - Ghostbusters .nsmp

Post by Nailsn »

Hi,

I'm a new Nord User of an Electro 6D.

I've had too much free time during the Corona Lockdown and I asked myself, why there are no usable Ghostbusters Patches and Samples around.
So I sampled the Original Song and came up with these two Sample-Patches.

You could use this as a Keyboard player in a Rock Band, covering most Synths and Samples.
I've even added the Bass Notes for the primary Bass Lick. If there is need for bass on all the song parts I could try to create a seperate Samplepatch. I didn't feature all parts, because the bassist wants to play the bass on his electric bass anyway and it used to much space on the keyboard.

All it needs is a little reverb.
And maybe there still some differences of the samples in Volume which I could correct, if someone wants me to.
One Patch covers all the Intro and Bridge Sounds and the other patch covers the sounds of the Verse and Chorus.

Have Fun!

Unfortunately it looks like Nailsn hasn't visited the Forum since July of this year, so I'd suggest sending a PM. Hopefully the NSMP files are available or can be created. Take care.

Hello,

Thanks a lot for the work you have done, the sounds are quite close to the original ones !
For the needs of my band, is it possible for u to share the intro with all the parts in separated files ( wav, ...)?
Thanks for all.
Yohann.
