Re: JX8P
Many thanks for these sounds. I love the JX8P/JX10/MKS70 but don't have any of these machines so these samples are like a gift!
I dream to get other samples. For instance, here are some presets from MKS70 I'd love to play on my Nord Wave:
I don't know if there is an equivalent on JX8p though...

Re: JX8P
The strings are quite good in the jx8p, but there are so many good ones in the NS too that I haven not felt too much inclined to sample those. Maybe I should.
If you have an MKS70, you could record the sounds in Audacity the MKS70, let's say snippets of c0, c1, ..., c7 and load them in the sample editor. It is relatively easy to do.
I have not done much sampling, but tricky things I noticed are: making it long enough so you can find a good looping point, but not too long so the result is not too large.

Re: JX8P
I don't have the MKS70 nor the JX8p but I especially love their Strings sounds. This is why I'd love to get the samples.
I don't know about the NS as I have a NW and even if Strings may be good on many instruments there is something special about the ones from the MKS70 I've posted.
Obviously, they have a specific "lushness" and low rumbling.
I don't know another analog synth that can produce the same sound and never succeeded to get it on a VA (but maybe I am not good enough at programming). I still hope to get the result from samples but I doubt it can be as good.

Each note starts slightly lower in pitch (like a slight bending) and that gives it a special character. I do not think we can do this in the NS2 other than via a sample or spending a lot of time fiddling with the wood stick.
Will the Mayes Wind work on an Electro 6, please? I need it for a gig in November, please?
Many thanks,
Paul

Oh wow, that's really great! Cheers.
I admit, I do still get a bit confused over detecting which files are specifically formatted for the Nord Stage, and those for the (my) Electro 6D.
Thanks,
Paul
