[REQ] Looking for 2 sounds (Genesis and Queen)

Hello.

I look for the Queen Song Sound "I want it all" the arp for the middle in the song. Like that in Video beginning on 1:02 :)


I know that video request a korg kronos, but i think the stage 3 can do that to? or someone can make this? Simone Liotta is overworked and have no time ;)

And the other Song from Genesis is Mama. I need that staccato when before he start to singing. I think i cant play that the whole time with my hand ;) or is a good idea to make that as a sequence?

I have Nord Stage 3 and Korg Kronos 2015 :)

Hi,
Not sure if you are still looking for the "I Want It All" sound but here is what I use for the song.
The brass is on the lower section of the split and the arpeggio is at the top.
The apreggio uses the B as a bass and then the chord tones played above it:
B/B --- E/B --- F#/B --- G/B --- A/B etc.

Hope it's helpful to someone....

I saw the response above from stuartsheppard and thought I'd follow with a program for Genesis "Mama". The keys are set up with intro on left hand and then chords coming in on the right like in the video. A B3 with Ring Modulation is set up to drone with the sustain pedal in a split on the top right. The program is already set up for vibrato on left hand part if you want more of that effect. This should help get you started. For any interested in playing around with the Nord Sample Editor, this would be a good program to sample so both synth sounds could be covered with one synth panel. Take care.

Hi Rutger,

Welcome to the famous Nord User Forum!

You can download the MAMA_Ghost sample from Chirorush4 (just the post above yours) and save it on your Electro, then create a new program on the Electro which uses this sample. From what I understood this sample was created by sampling the ns3f program, so that’s what you need right?

Hello, and welcome to the Forum! I used my Stage 3 program above to put together a NSMP file (posted at nord-user-samples-nsmp-samples-f14/gene ... ml#p150159) that has both the "ghost" sound and the Arp Quadra sound produced by the Stage 3. My sample is set up with the "ghost" on the left and Arp Quadra on the right. If you want the positions swapped, you could also follow the guidance from Schorsch above and create your own sample using my sample, or using "Mama Ghost.nsmp.nsmp" for the "ghost" sound and my sample for the Arp Quadra. For the MP3, a B3 provides the starting drone sound (held with the sustain pedal), and then I come in with the NSMP sounds. Lots of reverb helps with this one. Good luck to you!
