Re: 2.0 update causes loud pop between program switch
Hello there! I was considering to update my E5 but now concerned about this pop issue. Do you guys have any news about this?

The official site still lists 2.0 as the most recent update, so I would hold off if I were you.Rudy Wendt wrote:Hello there! I was considering to update my E5 but now concerned about this pop issue. Do you guys have any news about this?
Hoping there's a fix before the 1 year mark.

AFAIK it's still being sorted out in Sweden. It's taking a long time but they're working on it.

Re: 2.0 update causes loud pop between program switch
Has anyone heard anything about a fix for this problem? Every now and then, I get a very loud pop when changing from a "Live" patch to "Program". I haven't been able to figure out any rhyme or reason as to when it happens. It seems to be very random as far as when it happens. Just wondering if there's a fix yet.

The most recent OS update for the electro 5 was february of last year (2.0). Patiently waiting for this fix as well.

Still no update. Everyone got update ,but us poor Electro owners have this awful glitch over a year now which is rather distracting. Please, guys write to the Nord support team if you haven't already so they look for a fix!

Re: 2.0 update causes loud pop between program switch
I heard that they were slated to work on this after NAMM this year, but I imagine our current covid situation has put the monkey wrench in that. May not hurt to remind the fine people in Sweden that we need this done, but I wouldn't think this is first on anyone's priority list right now.alexmarinojR wrote:Still no update. I'm now trying to clean the piano partition (delete all, clear deleted space, format piano partition, upload everything from scratch)
If this doesn't help I'm considering to run the boards through the dishwasher edit no I'm not serious but thx for your concerns

And I was worried - all the way down to the ground

Re: 2.0 update causes loud pop between program switch
it is my recollection that the POPs result in part from release of newer "enhanced" EP samples and that instruments which do not have these loaded do not have this problem
(this is based on aging memory and no longer have access to my work email archives to refresh same)
if the above is accurate, a surefire way to eliminate the problem is to delete any/all such samples from instrument
admittedly, that is a less-than-satisfying cure, because those samples are truly excellent...
bless, pablo
