Announcement regarding Nord C2D
Re: Announcement regarding Nord C2D
As I have said before, the C2D, from official sources here in the UK, is discontinued, no more stock available, done, gone, finished. Anyone who can find one through a retailer worldwide and wants one, get it. simple as that.

Well, the C2D is still on Clavia's website.alexx wrote:Nord C2D is discontinued? Victory of Viscount Legend?
Of course, sales have certainly fallen sharply because the C2D is now several years old and there are many good/better alternatives.
On the other hand, Nord's build quality is still top class and the sound of the C2D need not hide itself, especially in a band context.
In my experience the Legend organs have only an average quality impression and I personally don't like the on-board overdrive and the Leslie sim. Via a Leslie or a Neo Ventilator they should of course sound good.
However, the HX-3 based clones like MAG organs, UHL Instruments or the expanders from Keyboardpartner are superior in sound (to the Nord and the Legends).
