Hi and hello to all of you,

I'm new in the forum and using a Nord Stage 3 Compact since a couple of days, first time playing a Nord after having used Roland Fantoms and Yamaha Motifs/MOXFs on stage for the past 20 years or so ....

I am very interested in the additional sounds from Nord's sound libraries, does anyone know if there is a way to download the Nord sound libraries (Nord Piano Library, Nord Sample Library 3.0) as a whole, instead of selecting each sound individually for download?

To answer your question, not really, more of a pick and chose what you like type of approach.

There is not a single instrument in the Nord line, even the last one, that could load ALL the samples of the Nord Library...So, you have to ask yourself what you really need contrary to the other manufacturers who put as much as they can in the instrument but ask you to pay for any extra afterwards....

Precisely to Quai34's point- the most effective approach is to understand the type of sound sample you want, then audition the ones in that category. For example, most of what I looked for are basses, some chromatic percussion, leads and pads. I don't have a lot of need for the Mellotron library or orchestra samples.

With regard to downloading, you can download the specific collection as a zip file or each sample individually.

Did you buy your Stage 3 new? Do they include the sound library DVDs anymore?

That’s clear to me - my point is that the room for rehearsal where the Stage is located does not have an internet or WiFi connection, I therefore want to save everything on my PC to have it available for testing when working with the Stage.

Yes I bought a new one and the piano library is included, so would need the sample library if the content of the piano library disc is the same like the one available for download
