Create a sample from a complex pad

I'm trying to sample a great pad from my Wavestation, but keep running into the problem on the screenshot.
I've also added the sound I want to sample.

Any advice?

It is one tone, right?

deselect "continous" on the bottom of the screen. Select the Root Key (Key of your played note in the audio-file) ... should be E2 in your case...

The multi sample per file Assign is good, when you have different tones in one Audio-file. Then the Editor automatically splits the file and assign it to the selected Interval.

They are different tones, but with slow attack and long release

I think the gap beetween each tone should be longer. The Editor just recognizes gaps to assign it to different keys.

I minimize the release and then add it on my Nord Stage. Makes it easier.
