Nord Sample Library 3?
Hi All,
Have downloaded the Mellotron & Chamberlin samples from the Sample Library 3 onto a MacBook. Any tips on how to get these samples from here onto the Nord 3? Have uploaded the latest softwareupdate but found no instructions on the Nord website regarding uploading the library 3 samples to the keyboard.

Quote, let me just add that to learn just how to upload existing samples 1 and 2 are enough, since 1 explains also the basics of Nord Sound Manager which is all you need to download sample to the NS3 (but the order is fundamental, so #1 first and I'd enforce it with a little addition as "Reading the whole manual of your Nord")Spider wrote:1- Reading the manual of your Nord

Hi Cookster
and a very warm welcome to this wonderful forum of nord enthusiasts.
On the one hand I do agree to what the posts above say. It sometimes takes me by surprise seeing how little efforts many people make about selecting and getting to know their keyboard.
But - I‘ve just taken some time and checked the nord website of the Stage 3 and of the Sound Library to see whether there are any hints that the sounds are being uploaded with the Nord Sound Manager. This indeed seems to be forgotten resp. treated not dominant enough. Or at least they don‘t make it easy for the only briefly searching guys.
If you follow the route Spider shows all gets good.
Enjoy, and cheers from Germany

Great - thanks for your help guys. I’m a guitarist so keyboards are a bit of a foreign territory for me.

Re: Nord Sample Library 3?
No prob, oth one more reason for spending some time on the NS3 manual, maybe skipping the Synth programming part for now, but the rest will not take long to read (and possibly "trying things while reading") and will give you a better insight and enablement to get what you need out of your NS3Cookster wrote:Great - thanks for your help guys.
