Deleted to save time for folks reading. In short, I needed to download the latest version of Audacity that had a checkbox to indicate I wanted high quality pitch correction as without that, the duration and tempo of my small samples changed. Cheers!

These programs are BRILLIANT, thank you! Is there any way I can fire off the F arpeggio 16th notes (low F using WhoBabaORileyFGW) and have it continually play without having to hold it down? Just to free up the left hand to play low F C Bb when the piano kicks in? Thanks.

Thanks kirbyjwilson. I believe "KB HOLD" can be used for the F arpeggio 16th notes so you can play the piano part with both hands. The program currently has two pianos an octave apart for single-hand playing, so the lower one could be removed. Take care.

Thanks for the perfect samples. I had grabbed them a few weeks ago, but found that the proposed splits (piano in the middle) don't work on the ns3 compact since it doesn't have a high-F key like the ns3 76! So I put the 32 synth part between the FG synth and the piano. This also allows me to play the 32 synth with my left hand while playing the piano with my right rather than having to use my left hand for the piano part as you demonstrated (and doing a fuller chord on the piano since I can't hold the bass piano key as well).

I took it a step further by pressing the ARP RUN key and then quickly hitting the low C key to get the automatic repeating 8th note that gets played when Roger sings "We're all wasted". I then copied this program to a second program where I replaced the 32 synth and piano parts with another synth where I used the "Strings Quartet Solo Vib" sample with sufficient mucking about in the Delay, and Amp sections so that while the FG synth is repeating the C key ad nauseam (while dropping the Decay to 288ms with the Arpeggiator set to 1/16T with ARP RUN and KB HOLD keys on), I can play the violin part through to the end and on the very last note simply press the KB HOLD key off to silence everything. I switch to this second program right after the last piano chord is played with the guitar "solo". I hope this was clear. Try it. It sounds amazing.

Here are my versions of the programs for the Nord Stage 3 Compact which doesn't have the high-F key, so the splits are different. The Violin program allows you to play the second half of the song after the piano ends. Enjoy.

Very nice KeyBard, thanks for covering the Compact users! The way you describe it, you could build a new sample covering both parts and freeing up one of the Synths.

For those new to Stage 3 programming, Forum member My Keys To Music just posted a new video showing folks how to put together my program at with the samples and necessary splits. For new Compact users, you could try setting up the splits as suggested by KeyBard. Take care

I've added an MP3 of my band playing this song a while back. Someone in the audience recorded it, so the quality isn't fantastic, but you can at least hear the fantastic nord with WannitBBBad's samples and the violin part I added.
