Steely Dan wurli/ Rhodes
I'm looking for some good Rhodes sounds for the Steely Dan tunes. I used to have a Rhodes with the tines setup for max. harmonics and stretch tuned, so when you hit the keys hard you get what I call "spitting: where the sharp attack has tons of enharmonic partials. The Rhodes sound is most noticeable on the Katy Lied album. Some combinations of Rhodes sounds on NS3 come close, but not quite there

Re: Steely Dan wurli/ Rhodes
If you still have access to a real Rhodes with those characteristics you can sample the sounds yourself directly into your Stage 3 using the Sample editor and a modern A/D converter. It’s really easy to do and there are online tutorials available on YouTube that’ll get you going with the Sample editor in an hour or less.

Re: Steely Dan wurli/ Rhodes
I got real close by layering the Wurli and the EP 1 deep sound. Flange on the Wurli. with the compressor cranked, chorus and very short delay on the EP with a small amount of panning. All Flange.chorus, pan rates very slightly offset .Stage reverb on the Wurli., room 2 on the EP. The compressor cranked gives it more of the sharp attack I was looking for.

Have you also taken a look at the NS3 libraries, particularly https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... nature-eps you probably won't find exactly what you are looking for, but there are some nice "tricks" you can borrow from those patches
