Request: The Who
Hi all,
I am playing a show in 3 weeks that is a note for note cover of The Who’s greatest hits. The songs need to sound exactly like the record. Not gonna lie, I didn’t leave enough time to prep for this show. I have a NS3 compact. By chance does anyone have programs or samples for the following songs? Thx in advance!!
-Who are you
-Love Reign O’er me
-You Better You Bet
Also, I already found a brilliant program someone on this forum made for Baba O’Riley, but it’s just slightly the wrong tempo (off by 0.5 bpm or so). I need to sync it to a click track the drummer will be using. Does anyone know if I can use the Nord sample editor to modify the BPM?

Re: Request: The Who
You might have some success using the search function on this site and the Nord User Sounds site. I have a Stage 3 program for "Who Are You" posted here.
Regarding "Baba O'Riley", I haven't checked it against a click track to see if the selection of the loop point causes it to get out of sync over time, however simply hitting the F key will retrigger the sample while playing. I use both hands for the piano but can quickly retrigger the sample while a chord is sustained. I hope that helps, good luck to you.

Thanks WannitBBBad ! That’s great.
Do you have a version of the Who are you program that has the entire sequence triggered with one key, but without the drum hits and claps? Thanks again!

Re: Request: The Who
Alternatively, if you are willing to share the .nwiproj files for Baba ORiley and Who are you, I can edit them myself

Re: Request: The Who
Unfortunately there wasn't a good way get a clean version of just the intro synth without the drum crash or guitar to create a loop. The program can be used without the sample as the synth part is manually played. Regarding Baba O'Riley, I can't get to any of my old files as my hard drives and other equipment are in storage offsite for the next few months. You might have luck creating a sample using my Stage 3 program for the recording and using software like Audacity to adjust the tempo in the WAV to match up the click track BPM. Good luck to you. Take care.aperturevx wrote:Thanks WannitBBBad! That’s great.

WHooo, Wannitbe has its stuff in storage? From one guy who is the most prolific and one of the best programmer on this forum, I don't in ow how you do it. You don't miss to have all your stuff set up neatly?
If it's not too much asking, are you moving so, eveything is in storage? Well not everything but quite some?
Sorry to hear that for you, I don't think I could have this, I will miss my set up too much...

Re: Request: The Who
Hello, the experience hasn't been too bad. Our 1956 house is being renovated and it required my wife and I to move out for a few months. I have a bare-bones setup at our daughter's house right now. The good news is that I'll have a dedicated room with all my equipment when all is completed. Take care.Quai34 wrote:....If it's not too much asking, are you moving so, eveything is in storage?
