I've been playing guitar in bands for years. I played piano as a kid (40+ yrs ago), so I decided a few years back to add keys to our band......looking for the b3 thing and also piano. I started with a Korg Triton, then went on toe Norg E2 73, then E3 73. Current rig is Nord Stage 2 73 and Privia PX3, played through Vent and Traynor K4. Here's my issue.......I am not a synth playing type of player, but I would like to learn, and plan on doing so more and more.
At this time I am trying to figure out how to get the opening sound of REO's "Riding the Storm Out". I'm not sure where to start. I am not savvy at downloading other sounds into the NS2 (I know, I need to and will learn), but I was hoping one of the many experts on this site could give me some detailed settings for the synth section that could come close.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Re: REO Ridin' The Storm Out
Hello h8hoos,
If I had a nickel for every time I've played that tune.
Well, I'd have a crap-load of nickels
Neal Doughty is in my top 10 of favorite keyboardists.
Since I no longer have a Stage, I'll try this the old fashioned way, with a patchsheet....
Here's a blank one for each rev:
I hope it helps.
Cheers, hanon

Re: NS2_RTSO_Patchsheet
Thanks for posting the NS2 patch sheet. Any idea if there might be a patch sheet available for the Stage 'classic'?
