Nord Stage 2 EX price dropping around 500 eur!

Hi all,
Last week there a number of conversations speculating whether Nord Stage 2 EX price would decrease with the release of Series 3 just around the corner. Some people were pointing out that retailers and distributors would basically maintain current prices and wait for their stock of Series 2 to exhaust to then start buying Series 3. Other people had the intuition that retailers and distributors would have the incentive to decrease prices to exhaust Series 2 stocks ASAP and start offering Series 3.

Well, today I just saw that one major retailer from Spain has set Nord Stage 2 EX HP 76 and 88's price to a whooping 2,720 and 2,869 €, respectively. Today Thomann is still offering these two at 3,111 and 3,399 €, respectively (note that the price of the HP 76 I believe has decreased as well in Thomann this week, from 3,199 to 3,111).
Wow!
Looks like the value of the Nord Stage 2 EX will obviously be affected, quite immediately and earlier than expected - also in the second hand market.
