Re: Sound of "Bohemian like you"?
Hi OWL,
SO you mean the Intro/Refrain Organ sound?? Seems like a not too complex kind of standard Organ Drawbar Settings Hammond SOund, Slow Leslie Sound to me.
But it's hard to tell exactly due to the relatively loud guitars in that tune, so I would try just some 568856300 or so settings and adjust while playing with your band.
In the (bizarre) video, they feature a (pretty cool Mono Synth!) Korg MS-20(?) (see 3:19), but I doubt that was used on the actual record!

Re: Sound of "Bohemian like you"?
Hi,
no problem. It takes some time to get to know all the sound sources of your instrument. For the particular song, I would select just the Organ section of your Nord Stage, switch on the (on the very left) Leslie Emulation on LOW (lights slowly oscillating), set the Organ to Hammond /B-3 Mode, and use the drawbuttons to adjust the sound. The numbers I mentioned is just an example for the drawbar settings you might consider (see here for more on classical Hammond Drawbar settings: http://www.norduserforum.com/nord-stage ... 20settings), but its best to do it by ear. If you have any question, have a look at the Organ part of the Manual or post back!
Cheers

Hey Johannes,
Just a side note, Zia McCabe of the D. Warhols has been playing a Korg MS-20 for years and years. If you're not familiar with the band, and even if you don't like what you've heard, I recommend you check out a documentary called "DIG". It profiles a different band ( The Brian Jonestown Massacre), but is narrated by the DW's singer. A far out documentary...
